lyfe ... a Bible café
Welcome to lyfe...

lyfe is a new way of engaging with the Bible. It’s about meeting to connect God,
you and everyday life. It’s about encountering the
Bible with your heart and mind, in a fresh and vital way.

Using material downloaded from a dedicated
website, groups follow a three-step
process of engaging with a particular biblical text. By reading, reflecting and
then responding to what they’ve encountered, the group approaches the Bible
afresh.
What is lyfe?

Read
  • First we read the passage we are discovering
  • Then we re-read it noting keywords and phrases
  • Then we read out loud a third time 'listening with the heart' and
immersing ourselves and our senses into the story

Reflect
  • we share our thoughts and questions about what we have
    listened to and discovered

Respond
  • we pray and rest over what we have heard
  • we agree practical action that may change our life
  • Join us in the Community Hall
  • 3rd Monday of each month at 11am
  • coffee, cake and conversation
