Bible Café
Bible study without the study...

The St Agnes' Bible Café is a very different way of reading and discovering the Bible. You don't need to have
any experience of the Bible or a vast religious knowledge - just a desire to hear the Bible in a new way and
discover how other people read the same biblical texts.
How does the Bible Café work?

Read
  • First we read the passage we are discovering
  • Then we re-read it noting keywords and phrases
  • Then we read out loud a third time 'listening with the heart' and
    immersing ourselves and our senses into the story

Reflect
  • we share our thoughts and questions about what we have
    listened to and discovered

Respond
  • we pray and rest over what we have heard
  • we agree practical action that may change our life
  • Join us in the Community Hall
  • 3rd Monday of each month at 11am
  • coffee, cake and conversation
