Background to the Diocesan
Weekend of Prayer:
We aim to offer a ‘focal point’ for prayer
across the parishes of the diocese. Some
parishes already have opportunities for
prayer (beyond regular services), but
others don’t. We hope that this shared
‘focal point’ will provide opportunity to
explore new ways of praying, and
potentially ‘kick start’ something which
could become a regular part of parish life.
