Prayer Vigil
On Sunday 12th September 2010 we held a Prayer Vigil for
Palestine and Israel as part of our ongoing engagement with the
issues surrounding peace and justice in the holy Land.
The Prayer Vigil including the following stations with images,
prayers and scripture:
- maps of Palestine & Israel
- details of our chosen Palestinian/Israeli charity (The
OneVoice movement)
- images of Jerusalem (peace, unity)
- Palestinian and Israeli crafts (praying for employment)
- images of Gaza (the blockade, human rights)
- images of rockets/warfare (praying for peace)
- the Anglican Diocese of Jerusalem

This page lists just a couple of our responses to discussions in a
number of groups in church about how we might pray for and learn
about the problems of the Holy Land.
The OneVoice Movement
An Evening With OneVoice Youth Workers Wednesday 25th January 2012

Videolink to Youth Workers On Advent Sunday we welcomed Sharon Alsoodani from OneVoice Europe to our Sunday worship. After lunch Sharon gave us a presentation of some of OneVoice's work. This was followed by a live Skype link to an Israeli and a Palestinian Youth worker.
