NEWS The Community Centre constitution was created with a 20 year lifespan which ended on 31st March 2007. In preparation for this change in status the Committee and PCC looked at a number of proposals for the future. You can read about this process here. The PCC voted for option 3 of the proposals and a draft version of the new management arrangements can be viewed here.

The creation of St Agnes’ Community Centre in 1987 was funded by Manchester City Council with the proviso that the Centre provide social and recreational facilities for the local community and that the Management Committee be made up of the Parish Priest (as Chair) and up to seven other members – four of whom are drawn from the local community and three being appointed by the Parochial Church Council.

St Agnes Community Centre is managed by the Community Centre Management Committee - a collaboration between the parish of St Agnes Longsight and local residents. The project was initially funded by Manchester City Council.
