Facilities
The Centre consists of a hall, kitchen and toilet facilities.
HALL
The Hall is able to hold between 40 and 90 people (depending on whether they are seated or standing). It
is furnished with folding tables and chairs and a very limited amount of storage space for some regular
user groups. The hall heating can be controlled by users. There are four electrical sockets. OHP/DVD/TV
available.
KITCHEN
The kitchen facilities – although limited – are suitable for the preparation of basic refreshments. As well as
a cooker, fridge and hot water urns there are cups & saucers, small and large plates, cutlery and utensils.
There are also a number of electrical sockets, an extractor fan and heating.
DISABLED FACILITIES
The Centre provides toilet facilities for the disabled and there is also access (via the church building
rather than off St Agnes' Road) to the Hall for wheelchair users.
GROUNDS
Parts of the surrounding church grounds have also been designated as community space.
St Agnes Community Centre is managed by the Community Centre Management Committee - a collaboration between the parish of St Agnes Longsight and local residents. The project was initially funded by Manchester City Council.
