Conditions of Use
St Agnes' Community Centre

Thank you for booking St Agnes Community Centre. We hope you find it a suitable venue for your function and
will wish to use it again.

Please read these conditions carefully before you sign the agreement.

Conditions of Letting

1.    All bookings are at the discretion of the Management Committee. Bookings will not be taken for commercial
purposes.

2.    All bookings must be made through the Bookings Officer.

3.    Adherence to the booked times must be strictly observed, unless prior arrangements are made with the
Booking Officer. The premises must be vacated by 11 pm at the latest.

4.    Bookings can only be made up to a maximum of 3 monthly blocks. It will be necessary to reapply after each
3 month period.

5.    Payment must be made, in the manner stipulated, at the conclusion of the booking, unless prior arrangement
has been made with the Management Committee.

6.    The Centre is to be left in a clean and tidy condition. Any additional cleaning necessary will result in an extra
charge being levied.

7.    Only one large bin bag of rubbish may be left in the Centre after use. Any extra rubbish must be disposed of
by the hirer.

8.    No perishable items are to be left in the fridge after the end of the hire period.

9.    Any damage or loss occurring as a result of a booking will result in an extra charge being levied.

10.   At no time during the booking must the Centre be left unattended. Any damage or loss or damage occurring
as a result of non-compliance will result in an extra charge being levied.

11.   You have booked the Centre and not the church grounds. Please do not use the grounds next to the church
– this is a Garden of Remembrance and Holy Ground where the ashes of the dead are buried. It must be
respected and is not to be walked upon.

12.   Cars are not to be brought on to the church grounds. Hirers of the Centre are asked to park their cars with
respect to the needs of local residents on Hamilton Road and St Agnes’ Road. Wheelchair access to the Centre
is via the church and prior arrangement should be made with the booking officer for car access to the church
entrance.

13. Child Protection. St Agnes’ Parochial Church Council is responsible for ensuring all users of the Centre are
aware of the need for them to have a Child Protection Policy (if applicable). For more information please read
these
guidelines or contact the Chair of the Management Committee.

14. Insurance. The insurance of the Community Centre covers the building and fittings. It does not cover the
activities that you organise. If you are inviting members of the public to any event in which games or other
activities take place we advise you to obtain Public Liability Insurance for your event.
