community for our Community Gardening Days

About the project...
The Community Garden project is a joint venture between the Parish of St Agnes
Longsight and HRACA (Hamilton Road Area Community Association) and seeks to
renew the grounds around St Agnes Church as a place for all local residents to use.
We hope to create a usable open space with areas for wildlife and for sitting and
relaxing.
The project has brought together a wide range of people from the local area and we
have met a few times already to discuss the future of the garden and also to work on
the garden itself.
We have held a number of Community Gardening Days when the grounds were tidied,
cleared and prepared for the season. A bird feeder has been set up in the new wildlife
area.
