The parish is very proud of it's links with St Agnes' School. Over the years the school
has become an excellent centre of education for local children. The parish is also
proud of the very high quality of teaching and learning in the school. The results from
the school (see links right) are amongst the best in the Manchester area.
The Foundation Governors are:
Fr Stephen Edwards (ex-officio), Helen Pearce & Margaret Taylor
NEW BUILDING
St Agnes is to receive a new school building. Building work will begin in March 2008
on a new £6million school. More details here.
The other schools in the parish are:
Crowcroft Park Primary School
Stanley Grove School
Birchfields School
St John's school was until October 2003 in the parish. Following the reorganization of the
parish boundaries St John's school is now in the Parish of St Chrysostom, Victoria Park.
